After a day hard day of work, Edmondson noticed a sharp pain in his chest that he later discovered was a heart attack. After his wife called 911 and the paramedics arrived, things worsened, causing Edmondson to flatline for about 30 minutes. Struggling to recover from the heart attack, Richard gracefully pulled through and regained consciousness from his wife’s voice. Richard slowly but surely got back as healthy as he could but needed a heart transplant due to the damage from the heart attack. Exactly one year after the heart attack, close to the exact hour, Richard was notified by his doctor that a heart had come available for him.
