Currently, there are more than 4,000 Mid- Southerners waiting on a life-saving organ transplant. Of this number, 2,000 are African Americans in need of a kidney. However, African Americans are one of the smallest groups to register as organ and tissue donors. That’s why Mid-South Transplant Foundation is inviting you and your congregation to participate in the GiveLife10 Challenge! This challenge will run until Labor Day encouraging the African American church community to become registered organ and tissue donors.
